What We Believe
The Rebels' Creed by Aaron Currin
I believe in one God who only is awesome and almighty. He is God the Father, who designed and constructed all that we see on earth and what we cannot see in the universe and heaven.
I believe in one Savior—God's Son but also God the Son, Christ Jesus. He is the only unique Son, existing forever with His Father. He came down from heaven, was conceived through the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin girl, becoming 100% human. For my sin He was crucified on a Roman cross, suffered death, was buried in a borrowed grave, and three days later physically rose again. He soared into heaven and is now sitting on the right side of the Father in heaven. He will come again as a Judge for the living and the dead, establishing a kingdom the will last forever.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, who is also 100% God, equal with the Father and the Son. He is the One who convicts sinners and gives them life. He is also a huge comfort to believers and lifts their spirits in worship to God the Father and Jesus Christ.
I believe in the Bible as the only authority given by the mouth of God, and the only way to understand and receive eternal life in heaven.
Finally, I believe in one holy Church—the body of Christ Himself; one baptism, signifying the defeat of spiritual death and the forgiveness of sin; and the resurrection of those who have died for eternal life celebrating God in heaven or suffering His wrath in hell.
This is true and in this I stand.
